Mr. Feng Ke , UREC general manager, visited the project site of Thaketa cycle power plant in Yangon to inspect and guide the project construction work on March 29, 2017.

Mr. Dong Fan, general manager of Thaketa Project company and the project manager of the EPC contractor, SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Corporation, accompanied the inspection and briefed Mr. Feng Ke on the project and site construction progress. After the inspection, Mr. Feng Ke held a meeting at the project site and listened to the work report of the project company's employees. During the meeting, Mr. Feng Ke emphasized the premise to achieve the project time limit is safety construction and quality assurance. Meanwhile, the environmental and social impact of construction process should be strictly controlled, be in line with international practice and environmentally and socially friendly. Mr. Feng Ke also provided guidance and made requests for the next step of the work while in the end, he encouraged and asked the project company to strive to achieve the power generation goals.
